Cave Matured Gouda “Vieux gris”


Vieux gris !!! One of the best special cheeses from our range. Cave Matured for 12 months, which means matured in a cooler area and with higher humidity. This means that the cheese after 12 months is more creamy, yet beautifully matured and is full of flavor. After this maturation, the cheese is washed with a caramel solution and then it is given its final pass, a protective layer. End result; a beautiful full cheese with a tasty bite and in the distance a little sweetness. Truly a highlight of our range !!!!!!
